The following rates are effective in the territorial jurisdiction of District 106 of the Upstate New York Operating Engineers Local 158 to signatory employers only. If you are a contractor not currently signed to a collective bargaining agreement, feel free to contact us. A map and description of our jurisdiction can be found on our home page.

 

Outside Construction

Our benefit packages for outside construction have all been reallocated due to the required increase in the upstate pension, effective July 1, 2010. The modifications do not affect the total package and the changes have been approved by the membership and the associations.

If you have old rate sheets, please discard them. The following rates are effective July 1, 2010 and reflect the changes for the Building, Heavy & Highway and Technical Engineer Agreements.

Article V

CLASSIFICATIONS

 

                       

 

CLASS A(1)       Crane, hydraulic cranes, tower crane[1], locomotive crane, piledriver, cableway, derricks, whirlies, dragline, boom trucks over 5 tons.

 

CLASS A           Shovel, all Excavators (including rubber-tire, full swing), Gradalls, power road grader, all CMI equipment, front-end rubber tire loader, tractor-mounted drill (quarry master), mucking machine, concrete central mix plant, concrete pump[2], belcrete system, automated asphalt concrete plant, tractor road paver, boom trucks 5 tons and under, Maintenance Engineer, self contained crawler drill - hydraulic rock drill.

 

CLASS B           Backhoes (rubber tired backhoe/loader combination), bulldozer, pushcat, tractor, traxcavator, scraper, LeTourneau grader, form fine grader, road roller, blacktop roller, blacktop spreader, power brooms, sweepers, trenching machine, Barber Green loader, side booms, hydro hammer, concrete spreader, concrete finishing machine, one drum hoist, power hoisting (single drum), hoist two drum or more, three drum engine, power hoisting (two drum and over), two drum and swinging engine, three drum swinging engine, hod hoist, A-L frame winches, core and well drillers (one drum), post hole digger, model CHB VibroTamp or similar machine, batch bin and plant operator, dinkey locomotive, skid steer loader, track excavator 5/8 cu. yd. or smaller

 

CLASS C           Fork lift, high lift, lull, oiler, fireman and heavy-duty greaser, boilers and steam generators, pump, vibrator, motor mixer, air compressor, dust collector, welding machine, well point, mechanical heater, generators, temporary light plants, electric submersible pump 4" and over, murphy type diesel generator, conveyor, elevators, concrete mixer and beltcrete power pack (belcrete system), seeding and mulching machines, pumps.

MASTER MECHANIC  (Guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday).
